(Open all year round)

These beautiful community gardens have over 150 plots now utilised by the local families in the surrounding community to provide fresh produce for their family.  Set in the lovely Awapuni Park it's  a very tranquil place to spend time.  More plots will be built this year and we hope to have more gardens across the city in the coming years.

(These classes will commence again in 2022 )

These amazing classes held at Awapuni Community Library are for anyone wanting to learn the basics of Te reo Māori.  Targeted at tamariki and whanau anyone is welcome to attend.  We currently just offer beginners classes but are looking to introduce intermediate classes in the not to distant future,

(This will not go ahead in 2021)
We are going in to our 9th year of holding this amazing event and we absolutely love doing it.  We can get up to 2000+ members of our awesome community along to get in the festive spirit.  With entertainment on the big stage, activities, giveaways, lots of kai, bouncy castles, cafe and so much more this party is a wonderful time for our community to connect and enjoy time with their whanau and friends.

(Dates for 2022 to be confirmed)

Whether it be a family movie night or filling a venue full of Arena Party Hire's best inflatables we love to put on events that the whole whanau can come along and enjoy.  There is always plenty of fun and food to be had.  We can get up to 600+ people to these awesome events.

(9.30-11am every Thursday during term time only)

This is a wonderful community playgroup for preschoolers and their whanau held at 54 Pascal Street, Palmerston North.  Come along with your little ones, play, talk and have a cuppa and some kai

(3.30-5pm every Tuesday & Wednesday during term time only)

In the heart of the Crewe Crescent community we offer an after school programme for local primary aged kids.  Helping them develop their confidence, relationships with others whilst having fun, playing games and sharing kai.

(Dates for 2022 to be confirmed)

We love running our free school holiday programme for primary kids in years 1-6.  Packed with activities, learning new skills, fun and mostly importantly food.  We think the leaders have just as much fun as the kids.  We are working with some of the kids who have previously attended to train them up as Kids Club Leaders.
