2018 Kids Club Holiday Programmes
We've again had Kidsclubs in the school holidays. And once again heaps of kids and a great time had.

2016 Christmas Party
In December our fourth Christmas event, the Community Street Party. was awesome. About 2000 people came to enjoy the fun, the activities and the food! A great atmosphere, lots of free food - candyfloss, popcorn, sausage sizzle; face painting, rock painting, seed planting and animal area for the kids, bouncy castle and other inflatable activities, tea room, live music and more. Heaps of fun for everyone!

2016 Wai and Kai
Wai and Kai is a team from Wired Youth Group and others, that are working along side Highbury Whanau Centre to help with their Mini Module rugby League programme. This is run for primary school aged kids every Tuesday after school. The Wai and Kai team provide sausages, fruit, water, sunblock, first aid and fun activities for families and kids on the sidelines. Wai and Kai is every Tuesday in Term 1 at Monrad Park, from 4pm-5.30pm.
2016 Craft Packs
Late in 2016 a set of craft packs were assembled to be delivered to families in need of extra support. The families that received the packages were very varied from families who had come to the ACROSS service for some extra support with their parenting, some refugee families who find holidays hard to fill up, to children who are currently living out of their family homes and the packages brought a bit of extra joy to their holidays and some ownership over a box of craft activities that they may have never owned before.
